Karen Seidman, M.A.

Karen Seidman, M.A., is the Principal of Seidman Consulting and a Senior Leadership Coach for Mariposa Leadership, Inc. She specializes in coaching professionals on how to translate abstract leadership concepts into practical skills.  Karen also develops and leads customized seminars internationally to solve specific communication problems within organizations. Additionally, Karen trains and develops other facilitators and coaches. With expertise in the areas of conflict resolution, influence, facilitation, and presentation skills, Karen is adept at working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. Karen's most recent clients include, American Express, AOL, Autodesk, Citibank, Frog Design, Gap Inc., Intuit, Lucas Film, Novellus, Oracle, Scios, Sun Microsystems, Theravance, University of California, Berkeley, Xsigo, and Yahoo!. Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, Karen facilitates and coaches in both languages. She has spent a total of six years living and working in other countries and has taught cross-cultural communication at Golden Gate University. This background informs Karen's cross-cultural approach when working with diverse teams and leaders in an international business environment.
